BRANDED — Blue-collar futurism

Pure dopamine / multi-media :30 spot for Powell Lacrosse.

“Stess, everyone is copying us,” said Mike Powell (arguably the greatest lacrosse player of all time). “We want to make something no one can recreate.”

“F*ck Yes,” I replied.

“We want to shake things up in the lacrosse world,” added his equally legendary brother, Ryan. “We want to make something no one has seen before.”

I said “F*ck Yes” one more time, shook hands with the Powell brothers and immediately picked up the phone to call Bemo. I’ve worked with Bemo for close to decade on Dream Corp LLC and knew I needed to get the band back together for this one.

I also knew the lead creative / founder of Bemo, Brandon Hirzel, was a former lacrosse player himself, so I pitched him on making the first commercial for lacrosse players, by lacrosse players. This, I felt, would be the way to capture the imagination and creativity of America’s first sport.

(I played with both Mike and Ryan at Syracuse University.)

This 30-second, multi-media brand ident, is being played on the JUMBOTRON at NLL games and broadcasting on ESPN throughout the NCAA Lacrosse Finals. It was a milestone moment for Powell Lacrosse, as it was their first commercial ever—and we wanted to bring it to the Olympic level, just like the Powell brothers did for Team USA.

We created a Virtual Reality roller coaster for the Adult Swim Festival. The project was nominated for a Webby for "Best VR: Branded Cinematic or Pre-Rendered"

Here is “DREAM CORP THE RIDE” is a VIRTUAL REALITY RIDE made for the ADULT SWIM FEST in collaboration with POSITRON and Bemo-Studio. it was incredible - if you have a VR headset this thing rocks or hit play and grab the screen with your mouse to view it in 360.
